Lassen RV Resort is located on the Day Bench, aka Lassen Bench, above the Fall River Valley, ~7.5 miles east of McArthur on Hwy 299E and 1.3 miles south on Old Highway Road (~7.5 miles East of McArthur). Our driveway is at the start of the treeline on the right. Look for our billboard sign at the edge of the driveway. North: From the North, take Highway 89 South to 299E from I-5 South, then 20 miles east on 299E to Old Highway Road (~7.5 miles East of McArthur), then 1.3 miles south to our gate. South: From the South, take I-5 North to 299E in Redding, then 85 miles east on 299E to Old Highway Road (~7.5 miles East of McArthur), then 1.3 miles south to our gate. Enjoy generous, full-hook up campsites, plus our swimming pool, heated bathhouse, and propane barbecue Our campsites are tree shaded, spacious, and flat. All but 3 sites offer full hook-ups consisting of 30/50 amp (and some 20 amp) electrical service, water and sewer, some phone lines, some picnic tables, and some grill/firepits. Each site is spacious and generously separated from its neighbor. Sites have a graveled base for the RV. Not only are we well suited for individual campers, but Lassen RV Resort is also an ideal place for family and group activities. Our large propane-fired outdoor barbecue and picnic area make planning group functions easier. We offer free limited WiFi at the office and pool. Currently, cell service with AT&T is reasonable and spotty service with Verizon. Some Sprint customers have service and others have reported no signal. We offer a pool, open from late June to about Labor Day, hiking and biking trails, and outdoor games such as horseshoes and volleyball, as well as just a quiet place to relax. Our swimming pool is 20ft x 40ft and from 3ft to 5ft in depth. There is a large shallow end, making a safe place for children to play and for adults to exercise. There is a restroom adjacent to the pool. We offer a clean, heated bathhouse as well as a laundry room with front load washers and dryers. Join the gang in an impromptu horseshoe tournament or meet up for a picnic lunch, watching for birds, wildflowers, and other wildlife. You can swap stories with other campers about your hike around McArthur-Burney Falls or the time you spent exploring the lava tubes at Lava Beds National Monument. You might even find a golfing partner for a day on the links at the Fall River Valley Golf and Country Club. Whatever you choose to do, we know you are going to have a peaceful visit at Lassen RV Resort near Lassen Volcanic National Park. |

Within our camping resort, you can go hiking through our 68 acres, watch for birds and other wildlife, or go swimming in our pool. We have games like horseshoes, volleyball or badminton, and tetherball, plus regular horseshoe games at our three regulation horseshoe pits. The group picnic area is perfect for family reunions, birthday parties, weddings or group events. And of course you will enjoy our quiet, peaceful setting when you stay with us at Lassen RV Resort, our campground East of McArthur, California. If you like to fish, this is the place for you! Hat Creek, Pit River, Fall River, Baum Lake, Lake Britton and Eagle Lake, all located near Lassen RV Resort, are renowned for their beauty and amazing fishing! If you want a great experience, contact George at Durand's Guide Service at 530-941-9757 for guided fishing expeditions in the area. A fishing guide service that operates in June and July in our area is Confluence Outfitters, they can be reached at 888-481-1650.
